Our practice is continuing to grow and we are now seeking suitable candidates for the position of Accountant.


Our Audit and Consulting teams specialise in providing an extensive range of client-based services including being regarded as the leading professional firm within the aged care, disability and community services sectors. This role provides a variety of accounting and finance-related services to our clients including:

  • Designing and implementing internal controls to provide quality assurance over financial reporting
  • Training and supporting client staff in the use of financial systems and spreadsheets
  • Documentation of financial processes to assist an organisation to identify areas of risk
  • Management and financial reporting
  • Month end accounting, financial performance reviews and variance analysis
  • Reconciliation support
  • Budgeting


To ensure your success in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or accounting
  • Experience in a finance team environment in either Aged Care, Community Care or Disability sector
  • Advances computer software skills, including Microsoft Excel and Access, SQL databases
  • Minimum of three-years’ experience in a similar role in a finance team office environment
  • Broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems
  • Detailed knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and train other finance staff
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of management accounting-related activities, including compliance and legislation
  • Articulate verbal and written communication skills and an ability to liaise effectively with clients and staff
  • Organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • A satisfactory outcome of Criminal History Check
  • Current drivers’ licence


  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Experience in using Enterprise suites
