BACKGROUND TO THIS SURVEY

This is the ninth annual survey of Aged Care Executive Remuneration conducted by this firm. The format of the 2008 survey follows the same format as the 2007 Survey, with some refinements to take into account valuable client feedback.  This survey uses a system of matching Job Levels across organisations and all disciplines.

Realise Performance Pty Limited has worked with Stewart Brown to apply its extensive experience in executive remuneration management to design these survey changes.  The result is a Job Level matrix that potentially covers all executive positions in the aged care industry.

Survey Coverage

This Survey will provide comparisons on the current annual remuneration foraged care executive positions under the following job families (Descriptions of positions in each family are included as part of the Survey Instructions):

Survey Participation Process

To participate in the 2008 survey there is 3 easy steps:

Step 1   Complete the Registration Form and send that to us. This ensures that we have up-to-date information in relation to your organisation as to how we contact you regarding this survey. Upon receipt of your completed Registration Form we will send to you by email a Data Collection Kit and a Tax Invoice for payment of the participation fee. Download registration form here.

Step 2   Complete the Data Collection Workbook as at 31 January 2008 for all applicable executives and forward that to us (by 3 March 2008). Upon receipt of your completed workbook we will review the data for missing items and consistency. Once all of the data has been received & reviewed, we will then prepare our remuneration comparisons and complete the survey report.

Step 3    We forward the 2007 survey report to you (by 31 March 2008).

 

Survey Participation Fees

Participation fees in the 2006 Aged Care Executive Remuneration Survey are based on the Total Revenue (excluding on-off items) of the participating aged care organisation (it is not dependent on the amount of data submitted):

 

Operating Turnover < $3m $3m to $5m $5m to $10m $10m to $20m $20m to $30m $30m to $50m $50m to $100m > $100m
Fee (Not including GST) $315 $530 $850 $1,150 $1,350 $1,575 $1,800 $2,000

 

Privacy

Stewart, Brown & Co. and Realise Performance Pty Ltd are required to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act. Any information that we receive from your organisation in relation to this survey will be kept confidential and will only be used in compiling the survey report. As in previous surveys, the survey report will show remuneration ranges and will not identify data from individual organisations.
